Fresh Perspectives Artist Collective, in partnership with the City of Milwaukee, created this artistic board up as a neighborhood revitalization initiative to transform this vacant storefront into a beautiful piece of art.

Near West Side Partners and Fresh Perspective Artistic Collective are proud to present Pins & Paint. This gallery will pay homage to Milwaukee, the bowling capital of America. Join us for a night of art while playing a game of ten-pin.

Youth from Our Next Generation, Local Artists Fred Keams and Leilani Lopez, and Artists Working in Education worked together to design and create this vibrant mural. The images have themes of harmony and community, andthe bright colors bring life to building and block.


JazzyRae's Jewels and Accessories: 4307 W. Vliet St.

JazzyRae' Jewels & Accessories offers a variety of trendy styles, for all women but for one night  it will transform its space into an art studio.  Artist Jasmine West will teach attendees how to create a beautiful Milwaukee Skyline piece on a 16x20 canvas. $20 fee. Home to the Neighborhood Environmental Education Project, the Washington Park Urban Ecology Center will open its doors to showcase a variety of artists inspired by education and the environment. Resident artists of the Near West Side will showcase their visual art at the Urban Ecology Center. Preserve, Reclaim & Re-Create - MobileDesign Box - 753 North 27th St.

The MDB exhibit centers around the recent studio work investigating building reuse of existing building fabric with Matt Jarosz’s Historic Preservation Studio at UWM. Professor Jarosz will also be exhibiting his posters of the Most Endangered Buildings. WasteCap WI will be exhibiting their “upcycled” reclaimed building components, in conjunction with Fresh Perspectives Artist Group that utilize their reclaimed components in their art. Exhibition runs June 16 through October 15, 2017.

Creating Art with Jasmine West

Friday 5-8 pm / Saturday 12-3:30 pm

Artist Jasmine West will teach attendees how to create a beautiful pieces of art on a 16x20 canvas. On Friday at JazzRae’ Jewels and Accessories Jasmine will teach how to paint a vibrant Milwaukee skyline, and on Saturday she will teach a lovely beach scene. $20 fee. Spaces are limited. NEWaukee Art Bus

Every gallery night NEWaukee takes you on a tour of multiple galleries and locations. The galleries are only part of the journey. On the ART Bus you will find a live local singer songwriter, wine and beer, and a great way to meet new people all for $25 per person. Whether you’re an art novice, expert, or anywhere in between, the ART Bus is a great way to explore Milwaukee’s spectacular art scene both on and off the bus! Vliet Street Gallery Night and Day Shuttle Bus

Friday 5-8 pm / Saturday 12-4 pm

Thanks to the Washington Park Urban Ecology Center, for providing a FREE Vliet Street Gallery Night and Day Shuttle. The shuttle is expected to run every 15 minutes on Friday and every 30 minutes on Saturday.  The  free shuttle will travel to stops at Artist Working in Education, the Urban Ecology Center, and 39th and Vliet.
